Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton in an Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. In 2009 Silk was a part of the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode was conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its prominence on social media has gained a significant online fan base.
