Kyra M. Sedgwick (born Kyra Minturn) is a famous American TV personality and actress. Her name is well-known all over the world, but especially in America as she played the principal role in the film 'The Closer. Sedgwick has always had an interest in the arts, Broadway and performing since at the age of 12. She was introduced to Broadway by her mother who had an interest in the field. Sedgwick was just sixteen when she had her professional acting debut on the show 'Another World. Although she began by doing small-time roles for television but it was the idea of becoming a professional actress that caught her attention.
