Jennifer Tilly's birth occurred at Los Angeles, California on September 16th 1958. The birth circumstances were miserable. Her mother, who was a failing actor and schoolteacher, sold automobiles while her father was an auto salesman. Jennifer was the youngest of her family's four children, frequently attended her mother to her theater performances and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's parents divorced after she turned five.
